about the project
Ideas in my head. Movement in my seat.
District One in Berlin-Schöneberg is a modern coworking space, spread over 2,000 m² across 5 floors and offering more than 350 workstations.
The flexibly designed workspaces, team offices, and meeting and event rooms create space for collaboration, inspiration, and change. A large part of the space is equipped with movable seating and standing solutions from Aeris, which promote creativity and make working more dynamic.
The building, which previously housed a gym, underwent extensive renovations and a fundamental transformation over three years . The result is a work environment that harmoniously combines productivity and well-being.
Desk sharing
On the ground floor, urban work meets ergonomic design. The Aeris Active Office Desks, combined with the Aeris Numo Tasks, offer maximum freedom of movement for dynamic work. These modular office solutions are freely movable and can therefore be flexibly adapted to any work situation.
Community Kitchen
The Aeris Muvman transforms the open kitchen counter into the ideal spot for spontaneous conversations and quick meetings. Thanks to its adjustable height, this flexible standing seat adapts to any body size and posture, relieving strain on the back and legs. This creates a dynamic space for exchanging ideas and networking.

The small meeting room, adjacent to the open workspaces and communal kitchen, offers the ideal retreat for creative exchange. The sofa, combined with the Aeris Numo Comforts, creates a space where ideas can be developed undisturbed. Comfortable, flexible, and perfectly suited to modern, collaborative work styles.
Lunch and Lounge
At the rear of the ground floor is a spacious lunch and lounge area. The generous space offers ample room for creative exchanges on the sofa, at the kitchenette on an Aeris Muvman, or for engaging meetings at the conference table with the Aeris Numo Comfort.
Workshops and conferences
In addition to several enclosed meeting rooms, the first floor offers another open conference table, providing space for informal exchange and creative collaboration. The Aeris Linu chair with its 4-beam base ensures a stylish look. Thanks to its flexible kinematics, it allows for natural forward, backward, and sideways movements, making it ideal for dynamic work and conference situations.
