Michal K. from Bratislava built recently an ergonomic sit-stand workplace in his office
I did not find any major downside, maybe the only one - the high price. But there are no compromises in quality as only high quality materials are used. I was (and still am) very pleased using muvman and recommend to everyone interested in building his/her own sit-stand workplace.
Hayley Batterson from Columbia about the active-office-chair 3Dee:
It took some time, but you get the official Hayley seal of approval on the 3Dee. And you know that isn’t the easiest to come by! Have a great day and thank you for introducing me to the 3Dee. It really has made an impact — or lack thereof — on me!

Brenda about her experience with the active-seat muvman:
I was looking for a chair that adjusted to a height where it could be used with a standing desk and was easier on the back and legs than a traditional chair. I just ran across the muvman. I like the movement and the tilt, as well as the "minimalist" design, and it feels very durable and is easy to adjust.
Wayne V. who purchased a swopper CLASSIC for his son:
My son had a bad hip, since fixed, and he bought one of your chairs to alleviate that pain. I’ve recently borrowed it while he’s been traveling and it relieved my back stiffness caused by the standard office chair. Besides, it’s kind of fun.
Brock McFarlane, CPS Mastering's owner and engineer, from Vancouver:
Kristin, physiotherapist and advisor of occupational health, Norway:
I have successfully provided people with swopper who have one of the following diagnoses: MS, severe osteoporosis, hypermobility of the spine with musculo-sceletal pain, and symptoms of common degenerative conditions. I can highly recommend the swopper. Continue your great work!
Ben Ellison from Camden (USA), editor and owner of the website panbo, about our muvman:
The 20- to 33-inch seat height adjustment means it works at both desk and helm, its springiness means I'm getting a little exercise with my feet spread and firmly planted - it is just right on an underway rolling boat. It's also quite compact and has a built-in handle. I suspect that muvman has a boat market the German manufacturer aeris may not know about.
Eric, a designer from USA, about the swopper:
I’ve been sitting on this chair for months and I can honestly say that aside from the comfort, this has been a very positive thing for my back. Even though I’m recovered, the only way I’ll stay that way is continuing my good behavior.
Jennifer, editor of sweeptight.com and swopper owner who lives in the Chicagoland area:
Switching to a swopper is such a simple tweak in the right direction. Let me tell you, it’s actually fun to sit in, too! Bouncing around and being more mobile is mood-boosting and revitalizing. Before this there were times where you could catch me dozing at my desk. Now I am bopping around and awake.
Nancy Eaton, freelance writer who often sits for long stretches at a time:
It took just a day or two to get used to the swopper. I noticed a quick improvement in my lower back flexibility, and the pain started going away. I also found it helped me sit up straighter, with my shoulders back and spine naturally arched. Sitting at my swopper is completely effortless. I don't miss having a backrest at all, it's not necessary. I move the seat and bounce a little bit all day long, and it keeps my lower spine and the surrounding muscles in great shape. I never have back pain at night anymore, the Advils are now reserved for work-related headaches.
Jay Cardiello, Health & Wellness Expert from New York City:
We spend the same amount of time in a bed as we do in a chair...why wouldn't you invest in one that can actually add health back into your day! Use a motion char like swopper to engage your core, improve circulation and focus.
Chris Freytag, CEO of Get Healthy U and passionate about health and fitness:
I’ve used the chair for a month so far and I not only like it – I LOVE it. By moving around all the time, albeit small movements, my back pain is not as prevalent, and I’m more alert. At first I felt a little sore in my mid-back which I think was my mid-back muscles responding to the new seat and strengthening. Now, I feel less low back pain, I sit up straight, and I’m more attentive.
